The Barbara E. Lee Hing Banana Ground Basic School is a 1,728 square foot wooden structure with a corrugated metal roof and concrete foundation. The school consists of multiple classrooms, a kitchen, bathrooms for students and faculty, and a sick bay. The school provides resources for approximately 50 students/year. In her address at the school dedication, vice-principal Denise Foster said “I have been with the school for the past 11 years and I am so thankful to God for this new building. We have fought for this for years, and to know it has finally come to pass, I can say, God is good.’
